The OS Giken head is pure sex. It's as beautiful and meticulously created as any premium watch, but with a better purpose.
I have heard of people chopping up K24 and RB heads to fit the L28.
My dream is to get a de-stroked L28 block with L24 crank and internals (basically de-stroked) a custom head, valves, and a large turbo. It would rev to the moon and back.

Don't know if you've (aside from GhostZ) seen this: gear driven cams. (One of my major weaknesses from being a Honda VFR fanboy.)
